I love the book ‘Born to Run‘, in fact it might be my favourite book of all time. If you haven’t read it, I’m sorry.
Anyway, for most of us we can always look to do stuff better and there’s nowhere better to look than the basics! Here we have one of the stars of Born to Run going clearly through the running movement and the key thing here is his explanation of ‘why’. If we understand why we do something it’s much more likely we will succeed, not only in doing it but also sustaining the effort required to master it.
Lastly, lets save our joints! Ankles, knees and hips should act as a spring to help us float when we run, not absorb impact…watch the video.
